The Council for the Aging consists of 9 members, no less than 5 members shall be senior citizens. The 9 appointees shall serve 3 years terms. No person shall serve for more than 2 consecutive 3 year terms.
The Council for the Aging shall have the following responsibilities:
All members of boards, commissions, authorities, and committees of the city, whether appointed by the mayor or the city council, shall be residents of the city unless otherwise provided for in the General Laws or in the Municipal Code, with the exception that no more than three members of the airport commission may be nonresidents.
